    Biography

    Dr. Jonathan Cheng is a board-certified physician and the Medical Director of New Horizons Wellness Center and MediSpa in Shenandoah, Texas, with more than 15 years of experience in advanced medical care. He provides the medical oversight behind the center's weight management, hormone therapy, and aesthetic programs, and he speaks English and Mandarin Chinese.

    Dr. Cheng earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UCLA as a Regents Scholar and Phi Beta Kappa member, then completed dual MD and PhD degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the USC Keck School of Medicine, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed an internal medicine internship at UCLA Olive View Medical Center and his residency in radiation oncology at UC Irvine Health and City of Hope, where he served as Chief Resident. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology in radiation oncology and has practiced in Texas since 2010. His clinical expertise includes IMRT, brachytherapy, and image-guided radiation therapies, and he has published research on rectal cancer and head and neck cancer outcomes.
